Jaime Sky - Principal

Jaime is the Founder of The Kitty Carer, Resident Veterinary Nurse for 102.1FM Radio Show, 4 x Published Author, Study Buddy E Book Author, TVN Academy Owner, Feature Contributor for pet magazines, PetPep Speaker, creator of Vet Nurse Buddy App (available on Android and iPhone) owner of www.silentearth.com.au, www.traineeveterinarynurseworkshops.com as well as www.theplacementprac.com and Qualified Veterinary Nurse with over twelve years experience working with large and small animals, Welfare Organisations, Boarding Facilities, Australian Quarantine and Biosecurity Government and Council Pounds.




Marty Tunaley

Marty is the Creative Director of TVN Academy and Trainee Veterinary Nurse Workshops. Marty has created and developed two international magazines, video editing and is an experienced and trained photographer. Marty develops all the material for Trainee Veterinary Nurse Workshops and is the developer of Vet Nurse Buddy App.





Anna Beasley BVSc (Hons) 

Anna worked as a vet nurse ion Brisbane for 4 years whilst completing her vet degree. Upon graduating from the University of Queensland in 2006, she started my clinical practice in Bundaberg.  After 2 years, she moved to the UK and worked in various small animal clinics before returning to Australia 2 years later to work in Rockhampton in a small but busy animal hospital.  It was there that she developed a keen interest in ultrasound and went on to complete a distance education sonography course.  In 2013 she returned to Brisbane where she is now based, and works in small animal practice that includes carrying out export work for domestic animals.  




Louise Matthews BVSc

 Louise graduated from the University of Sydney and started working as a vet in rural NSW. After a few years she moved to England and was involved in both small animal and horse practice there for 15 years. She has ridden most of her life and has owned horses and helped her daughter to compete to quite a high level in events. She recently did a horse trek through the Kimberley in WA (which was fantastic). She works in vet practice in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

Chris Kearton BBus (Major)

Chris holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Management and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in International Studies. He is an accountant and holds all the vocational qualifications from the old BSZ to the TAA and the current TAE.

He started work in accounting and quickly became Financial Accountant for several large multinational corporations. He later added a Business degree in Management and an Arts degree in International Studies. He earned a Deans Commendation for these studies and was asked to tutor at University and became a member of the Universities Academic Board. The subjects he taught included Management, Strategic Management, Applied Research (including Statistics), HR and Industrial Relations at degree level for University. He also taught many support units such as computing and MS Office at degree level. He was a member of the Universities Academic Board.

Chris later tutored at college level at diploma and advanced diploma level. He tutored a range of Management topics as listed earlier as well as Finance, Workplace Health and Safety, International Business and many others. He has tutored in Australia but also delivered the Australian Vocational program in Asia and the Caribbean. He quickly made Senior Instructor and Lead Assessor.

He has also been very committed to helping his community, and has been involved with the State Emergency Services, Scouting and the Bushfire Brigade among others. This community work earned him a nomination for the Australian Family of the Year. He has been able to assist many students and still hears from past students who update him on their progress many years after completing their studies.
